1. If you are in the northern hemisphere, we recommend setting off at 6 or 7 o'clock, but 8 or 9 o'clock is also suitable.Choose some shaded routes
2.Staying hydrated is important. Dehydration can reduce your blood volume significantly, as well as your heart rate. So, it’s best to take enough bidons and water, and drink about two water bottles (or 1.2 liters) per hour.
3. Apply sunscreen generously. Use at least factor 30 and re-apply every 2 hours.
4. Wear adapted cycling clothes (Fast-drying, ultra-lightweight, polyester material) to reduce the absorption of heat from the sun.
